Teaching students strategies that drive them to academic success

Leading the way in project-based, hands on STEM education

Conquering classroom challenges that hinder student success

  1. Comprehensive Educational Consulting Services
  2. Reading
  3. Writing
  4. Mathematics
TLC employs a three-part approach to academic enrichment:

Provide opportunities for hands-on interdisciplinary learning through project-based learning to build reading, math and critical thinking skills

Build student enactive attainment, or the measure of the belief in one's own ability to complete tasks and reach goals, which greatly influences academic achievement and builds reading and mathematics self-efficacy.

Offer experiential enrichment activities to connect education to real world applications and provide students opportunities to “find their voice”.

Our individual pre-assessments and post-assessments guide lesson plans and match tutors using best practices that are aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
Because of our small group instruction, our tutors are able to identify and work on students’ individual weaknesses, based on Pre-Test results, previous student performance in school, and campus leadership recommendations. Student mastery is closely monitored and monthly progress reports are used to measure growth and achievement.
