Demetra C. Jones is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Training, Leadership and Consulting Inc. headquartered in Houston, TX. Since 2006, Training, Leadership and Consultant Inc. has provided an array of strategic management, consulting and training services for several vital entities and organizations. From consultation to implementation, we will bring together the combination of reliable technologies, proven methodologies and best practices that create business solutions needed to achieve and sustain results. Before Demetra became a consultant, she worked in City and County government for 23 years.
 
Mrs. Jones received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Human Resources Management from the University of Houston in 1983. Jones continued her education by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Instructional Technology. Her extensive Human Resources knowledge led her to explore careers in Investment Banking and Governmental Relations. Demetra’s experience includes planning, developing and implementing human resource strategies; preparing new hire recruitment policies; structuring development training programs; and developing educational, health and safety seminars. Mrs. Jones services have been acquired by local governmental offices, school districts and private business entities.
 
Demetra’s background experience includes positions as Human Resources & Risk Manager, Health and Safety Director, and Public Relations Specialist. Within these capacities, Demetra’s responsibilities have included communications and Social Service consulting, Program Management administration, and Human Resources and Business Relations.
 
Demetra remains devoted to professional development and improvement. Areas of particular knowledge include professional recruitment, training & development, employee policies, EEOC regulations and employment law. She has also obtained certifications in Safety & Wellness and Risk Management.

Arquella Hargrove brings over sixteen years of progressive human resources management and consulting experience working for organizations in for-profit and not-for-profit. In Arquella’s current role at Settlement Facility Dow Corning Trust, she is responsible for people strategies and talent initiatives that support the achievement of the Company’s business objectives.

As a Human Resources Consultant, she provides strategic human resources generalist services to not-for-profit and small to mid-sized companies performing duties such as, building an HR infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Federal, Local and State employment laws, writing employment handbooks and job descriptions, and providing counsel and guidance to senior management. Her results-oriented approach has led to the implementation of a number of HR initiatives/programs such as, a total compensation strategy, an employee self service portal, online performance management tool, employee recognition programs, and management/leadership development training.

As a trainer, she has developed and conducted sessions on “Managing Your Human Capital for Success,” “Engaging and Retaining Your Employees in a Down Economy,” “The Basics of Human Resources for Management,” “Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace,” “Presentation Skills,” “Behavioral Interviewing,” and other programs for various industries. She has taught Business Communication at San Jacinto Community College and professional development sessions for Harris County Department of Education.

Arquella holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Ottawa University and currently pursuing her Executive MBA degree at Texas Woman’s University. Arquella received her certification in Human Resources (PHR) in 2001.
